Return Policy – Fashion Melbourne
Last updated: 06.09.2024
At Fashion Melbourne, we are committed to providing high-quality products and services. This Return Policy sets out the conditions under which returns are accepted, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
1. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind or make a wrong choice.
2. Faulty or Misdescribed Items
You are entitled to a remedy under the ACL/CGA if an item is faulty, unsafe, not as described, or does not perform as reasonably expected. Depending on the issue, this may include repair, replacement, or refund. Fashion Melbourne reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy in compliance with the law.
3. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the product.
Items must be unused, unworn, in their original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.
4. Sale Items
Items purchased on sale or during promotions are not eligible for return, unless they are faulty under the ACL/CGA.
5. Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, including customs duties, import GST, or any associated fees. These are non-refundable. We strongly recommend using tracked shipping, as we are not responsible for lost return parcels.
6. Return Procedure
To initiate a return, you must:
Contact our support team at support@fashion-melbourne.com within 14 days of receipt.
Provide proof of purchase and clear photos of the item showing the issue.
Wait for written authorization and instructions. Unauthorized returns will be rejected.
7. Processing Time
Once the returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified of the outcome. Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 14 business days, using the original payment method.
8. Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
